The Ohio Venture Association will focus on the world of biomedical technology when Frank Douglas, President and CEO of the Akron BioInnovation Institute, speaks at its upcoming lunch meeting.

Dr. Raymond Onders will share a venture capital success story this week during his talk, “Helping Patients Breathe: From Superman to Synapse Biomedical — How orphan diseases can lead to worldwide sales from Northeastern Ohio.”

Venture capitalists discussed their role in entrepreneurial companies, what will generate the most money in health care in the next 10 years and what they look for when choosing an investment Friday at the Ohio Venture Association panel in Cleveland.
