Wellness products seller Max-Wellness moves way beyond retail

Wellness products seller Max-Wellness unveiled several new initiatives aimed at reaching customers outside of its retail stores. Medical device to monitor transplants may prevent rejection

The transplant medical device relies on high frequency ultrasound that monitors blood flow and the cardiovascular system, which is the first place sign of rejection will appear. Kentucky’s Xanodyne Pharmaceuticals completes $50 million equity round

Tobacco companies sue to block free-speech limits on cigarette marketing — MedCity Morning Read, Sept. 1, 2009

Most of the nation’s large tobacco companies sued the U.S. Food and Drug Administration and U.S. Department of Health and Human Services on Monday saying a new federal law limits their freedom of speech.
