Baldwin-Wallace College is adding a public health major for undergraduate students.

It’s been a long, contentious August, when it comes to the health care reform debate. Today, members of Congress return to Washington to pick up where they left off before their summer recess. MedCity News asked Ohio health care leaders a question: “Are we headed in the right direction with health care reform? Why or why not?”

Is America ready for health care reform? Are caregivers, patients and insurers willing to make the sacrifices to support quality health care for all? Maybe not yet.

The United States must reform its health care system. Now. That was the overwhelming message from industry leaders in Northeast Ohio to incoming President Barrack Obama on the eve of his inauguration.
