CLEVELAND, Ohio — The Cleveland Clinic has rearranged leadership positions at two of its hospitals soon after announcing plans to acquire Medina General Hospital.
Euclid Hospital President Robert P. Stall will leave his position to lead Medina General. Joanne Zeroske is the new president at Euclid Hospital. Both positions begin Wednesday.

Although this classification was originally intended to define the treatment of rare, also termed “orphan” diseases, affecting fewer than 200,000 people in the US, more recently, specialty drugs have emerged as the cornerstone of treatment for chronic and complex diseases such as cancer, autoimmune conditions, diabetes, hepatitis C, and HIV/AIDS.
“We believe he is the right fit for this community and our hospital and through his leadership, we look forward to positioning Medina General Hospital to better meet the needs of this community, as well as strengthening it for future growth opportunities,” Charles Coleman Jr., board chairman at Medina General, stated in a release.
The Clinic touts Stall as someone who has grown patient volumes at Euclid while pleasing its staff. Employee satisfaction and engagement has been ranked the highest throughout the Cleveland Clinic regional hospitals, according to the health system.
Stall replaces Gary Hallman, who spent 16 years as Medina General’s president.
Zeroske is a registered nurse who has worked at the Clinic for 27 years, most recently as executive director of human resources operations. Like Stall, Clinic officials tout her ability to please both patients and employees.
