Rasmussen College – School of Nursing recently named Jacqueline Houle Dean of Nursing at its Fort Myers, FL college  location. Houle brings more than 30 years of nursing experience to the College, including strong leadership skills developed through senior-level experience at the Lee County School District’s Practical Nursing program. Her official start date is on December 19.

Houle is a nursing industry-veteran within a clinical setting, serving as nursing staff leadership and as a training and development head. Jackie first joined Rasmussen College in September 2011 as a full-time instructor, where she quickly distinguished herself as a passionate student advocate by building additional clinical opportunities, developing inroads with key clinical partner targets, and receiving our first community nursing scholarship. In her new role, she will report to the Florida Regional Dean of Nursing, Gail Dolan.

Houle has a Master of Science in Nursing Education from Florida Atlantic University, a BSN from the University of New Hampshire, and a Diploma in Nursing from the New Hampshire Hospital School of Nursing.

Rasmussen College in Fort Myers currently offers an Associate’s in Professional Nursing degree program and an  RN to BSN online program, which is also available online, among other business, technology, education, and justice studies degree programs.
