Northeast Ohio group Better Health Greater Cleveland has appointed six new members to its board of directors.

Better Health is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the health of people who have chronic medical conditions, such as diabetes. The group focuses on health IT, quality improvement and payment reform. It’s part of the national Aligning Forces for Quality program, the signature program of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation.

The new board members are:

  • Dr. Christopher Hebert, associate medical director of quality improvement with Kaiser Permanente
  • Kevin Lauterjung, executive vice president for managed care with Medical Mutual of Ohio
  • Jean Polster, executive director of Neighborhood Family Practice
  • J.B. Silvers, professor of healthcare finance at Case Western Reserve University
  • Jim Weisman, vice president with BioEnterprise
