Under-the-radar Silvergate Pharmaceuticals has raised $3 million to reformulate adult pharmaceuticals for the pediatric market.

The Dublin, Ohio-based company’s fundraise was sourced from two investors and came in the form of equity, options and warrants, according to a regulatory filing.

CEO Frank Segrave didn’t return a call.

The company has no website and the only information that could be found on it came from a directory maintained by BioOhio, the state’s biomedical trade group. BioOhio has never spoken with or met any representatives of Silvergate, a spokesman for the group said.

“The company’s products are intended to eliminate the need for hospital pharmacies and formularies to reformulate adult pharmaceuticals into doses and concentrations acceptable for the pediatric population,” according to the BioOhio directory.
