Cleveland Clinic is on track to open a new $71 million, 170,000-square-foot medical center next year in suburban Twinsburg.
The Clinic had originally projected 2009 as the opening date for the Twinsburg Family Health & Surgery Center, but delayed construction due to the weak economy.
The four-story health center is expected to employ about 300 people, the Aurora Advocate reported.
Behavioral Health, Interoperability and eConsent: Meeting the Demands of CMS Final Rule Compliance
In a webinar on April 16 at 1pm ET, Aneesh Chopra will moderate a discussion with executives from DocuSign, Velatura, and behavioral health providers on eConsent, health information exchange and compliance with the CMS Final Rule on interoperability.
The health center will feature cardiology, colorectal surgery, neurology, OB/GYN, orthopedics, urology and vascular surgery services, plus a 24-hour emergency department and helipad.
Meanwhile, in other suburban hospital news, the Clinic has shelved plans to add a free-standing emergency room facility to its health center in Brunswick. Cleveland Clinic dropped the plans, at least temporarily, to conduct further research on the community’s needs, the Sun News reported.
