STERIS debuts technology integration system at nurses’ congress

Harmony iQ 2100 Integration System

Mentor, Ohio’s, STERIS Corp. has introduced at the Association of periOperative Registered Nurses Congress in Denver, Colorado, a system that integrates operating room visualization technologies on a single touch screen.

The Harmony iQ 2100 Integration System, a joint product with VTS Medical Systems LLC in Melville, N.Y., takes several units that control cameras, imaging devices and navigation equipment off a stacked tower or rack and consolidates them on one computer screen and microprocessor.

The new system has a much smaller footprint than rack-based integration systems and offers more flexible placement options.

“The new Harmony iQ 2100 system is another example of a STERIS technology improvement that supports highly advanced surgical procedures, while it also simplifies form and function within the room,” Johnson said.

STERIS is at Booth 3639 at the nurses’ congress, which runs through Thursday, March 18.
