MENTOR, Ohio — US Endoscopy has launched another product — a portable colon irrigation system calledVelocity.

The company that designs and makes endoscopy devices — used mostly inthe gastrointestinal tract — wanted to helpphysicianswhen they found offal orfluid in a patient’s colon during a procedure, or if the patient bled. So the company created an irrigationsystem that had high volume, yet variable pressure that was controlled by the physician.
