You know what’s wrong with politics and media today? We continue giving attention, air time, and credibility to complete fools. You’d think anyone who talks about “death panels” or encourages the birthers would be kind of automatically marginalized.

But no. Some of them sit in Congress. Others have their own shows on Fox.

Note that a third of Southern Republicans, according to the poll, say they would like their state to secede from the US. So in a sense, no, they’re not really our fellow Americans. At least not permanently.
