Join MedCity News for biotech and ice cream in Ohio’s capitol city

COLUMBUS, Ohio — MedCity News is attending (and co-sponsoring) BioOhio’s annual conference this week in Columbus.

For MedCity News regulars — and, in particular, those who follow us on the microblogging service Twitter — we have an event just for you.

MedCity News Ice Cream TweetUp will be at 4:30 p.m. Thursday at Graeter’s in Dublin, moments after the conclusion of the BioOhio conference and literally a few blocks from the site of the conference. It will be the perfect way to unwind after two days of discussions on the global nature of biotech.

What’s a tweetup? A networking event made up of Twitter friends. But we’ll extend it to MedCity News readers and other BioOhio conference attendees.

Why should you come? To meet like minds in the medical industry and for free ice cream. Everyone gets a free cone or cup courtesy of MedCity News. But if you’re “tweeting” we’ll toss on a second scoop. We’ll also have someone on hand to break down what happened at this year’s BioOhio conference.

When and where? 4:30 p.m. Thursday after closing remarks at the BioOhio conference at Graeter’s Ice Cream, 6255 Frantz Road in Dublin.
